Description:
Cell on Wheels (COW) Solution.
The Cell on Wheels (COW) is a mobile telecommunication solution designed to ensure reliable network coverage in areas where permanent infrastructure is unavailable, damaged, or insufficient.
COW systems are widely used during large public events, emergency situations, natural disasters, and for temporary capacity expansion. Being fully independent from fixed telecom infrastructure, the system can be rapidly deployed in virtually any location to provide immediate network coverage.
System Description.
The COW is based on a trailer-mounted frame with an integrated equipment shelter/cabinet, space for the diesel generator and mast system.
The equipment can be placed in the outdoor cabinet or in the shelter, which is designed as a vandal-resistant, all-weather enclosure made of insulated sandwich panels with a galvanized steel construction. It houses standard 19” telecom racks, power systems, and battery backup units.
A dedicated compartment is provided for radio equipment, diesel generator and fuel tanks and auxiliary systems, designed as a ventilated structure with secure and independent access.
The unit is equipped with integrated climate control systems to maintain optimal operating conditions. Optional space with basic operational furniture for field personnel.
Security is ensured through a vandal-resistant design combined with intrusion detection and fire alarm systems.
